Mountainside has changed my life. Amazing facilities and employees, who help the individual on a personal level. I will never forget my time there and am thankful for my experience. Also shout out to Alumni Services who do a great job of keeping us connected!

The Xtreme comedy show and dinner was a fabulous event. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with all of the attendees from Mountainside and the comedians were hilarious. We laughed till we cried. The dinner was also delicious. I truly appreciate being able to attend sober events where I now have more fun at than my past events under the influence of alcohol. One of my primary goals in my current life is to attend every sober event that I have the privilege of being invited to.

Just got out of a life changing detox/residential stay. 5/5 on all accounts - clientele, STAFF, food, luxury, cleanliness, activities and activities offered. You havent lived until you've gone to a yoga class, meditation class, done a high ropes course and a hike, and finished an activity and a group before lunch. (You can literally make that happen)

I should start off by stating that I have struggled with this disease for most of my young life and have found little to no success for any amount of time. These bouts with my addiction and attempts at various treatments have filled me with negativity and a dwindling self esteem thinking I wasn’t capable of help and was a lost cause. Thankfully, in my last attempt at helping myself, before giving up and accepting the life I was living as my destiny, I decided to go to Mountainside because of the mind body spirit aspect that I never found offered anywhere else. I cannot say enough good things about the inpatient program, but the main reason for writing this is to shed light on the recovery coaching after care program at mountainside. There is no doubt in my, or my family’s mind that This has without a doubt been the difference in my sobriety and life. Getting out of inpatient has always been extremely difficult and actually unbearable at times for many reasons. My family and I feel so blessed that mountainside has connected me with Tracy who has been a miracle for us. I know the recovery coaching program, in general, is outstanding ...but she has been the difference for me and has guided me and has been by my side since the second I left inpatient. Everything from Her experience, guidance and helpful approach has really been the reason I have come this far and am excited to keep going. She is totally relatable and so dedicated that it made a difficult transition, which I always failed at, regardless of any other modality of aftercare, much easier and she instills in me a daily and continuing hope for the future. I am so grateful for her and mountainside.

Mountainside provided my husband with the foundational skills he needed to live a life in recovery. The staff were incredibly professional and willing to answer any questions I had during a very difficult time in our lives. They offered many different resources to support our family. I am forever grateful for the care my husband received through the program at Mountainside. He has been clean and sober for over 5 years and Mountainside was the beginning of our journey.

Mountainside Treatment Center is a premier addiction treatment facility. I experienced a very dedicated team, on all levels, devoted to meeting individual client needs. The responsiveness of staff eased the extremely stressful process of having a loved one enter and go through the treatment process. Taking part in the family program allowed me to observe first-hand the level of dedication and compassion provided to clients and their supporting family members. I am beyond grateful for all that Mountainside did to provide my loved ones and me with the knowledge and courage to go forward with renewed strength and hope.

Mountainside Treatment Center is a great place. Everyone is very welcoming, friendly and willingly ready to help. We built a family being in the program. I felt very safe and comfortable. The clinical team are very understanding and knowledgeable. They definitely put in a team effort to keep everyone in the right steps to be in recovery along with a future recovery. I am grateful for being able to come here and get the best help for my addiction. If you are looking for a rehab addiction center go to Mountainside. I recommend coming here, hands down the best substance abuse program (and i’ve been to 3 prior!!! Going on 5 years clean)

Mountainside Treatment Center has been particularly great with the level of autonomy that they instill in their culture. Mountainside Treatment Center is a beautiful facility with top notch staffing and clinicians that make recovery and rehabilitation from addiction a process that I can see the light at the end of tunnel with. It’s important to not feel alone. With mountainside treatment center. I don’t feel alone.

I don’t think words can do justice for the amount of gratitude I have in my heart for what they are doing here. Everyone of the staff members is incredible in their own way, and their main focus has been to truly help in whichever way they can. A huge round of applause for Dan and the extended care staff! Dan was my main point of contact and he was so compassionate and understanding. If I had the ability to give more than 5 stars, I would.

The dedication of the extended care team is amazing. Dan and his team truly care. I couldn’t say enough nice things about how well run this program is. My good friend went through the program and is still doing amazing.

Dan in extended care is amazing! He was one of the first guys I called for HELP. Dan always makes himself available to his staff and clients. Dan’s one on one skills are skills you can’t learn or teach, Dan was born with a gift to help. I can’t say enough about Dan and the extended care team at Mountainside. Great people!

Mountainside’s extended care program has been a blessing to my family. Our son struggled for five years with addiction. We sent him to several other treatment centers before Mountainside. Each time he came home from treatment he would stay sober for a few weeks and we would get our hopes up. But then he would relapse and my heart would break. This last time we decided to send him to Mountainside’s aftercare program after he completed residential treatment. It was the best decision we ever made. He had a wonderful experience (and so did we). The staff were amazing and so supportive of him and our family. And now it’s a year later and he is still sober and our family is really starting to heal. I will be forever grateful for the extended care program for giving me my son and my family back!!!

I can’t speak highly enough of Mountainside. As an alumni from 2011 they truly gave me hope for recovery. The dedication from staff and support I received was tremendous to my process. Recently I’ve had friends go through the Extended Care Sober Living program as well. The way they explained their venture into recovery always brings a smile to my face. Thank you to Mountainside’s Extended Care program for showing my friends recovery and for Mountainsides crucial role in my own journey. I'd highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking recovery.

Thank god I found this place after multiple overdoses and everyone turning there back on me Mountainside gave me a chance. They helped me to see the good in myself and the strength to stand up to my addiction. Despite all the ups and downs I'm happy to say I have 3 years clean and Mountainside played a big part in me getting to this point.

Beautiful place, great food, fantastic counselors! I went in thinking I could never get clean and now I KNOW I will remain clean and sober!!!!

Amazing treatment center! My brother was a serious heroin addict that was just days from killing himself. As a last ditch effort, we convinced him to go to Mountainside. His addiction nearly destroyed our family. After 2 weeks of being in treatment, we were asked to join him in therapy. I was thrilled to see that not only was my brother getting help, but our whole family started to heal as well. He is now 2 years clean and sober and living a life free of drugs, not to mention we are a family unit again!

My daughter was addicted to crack. Her addiction lead her to robbing our family every chance she got to satisfy her cravings. When she was finally arrested she realized she needed help. I’m not gonna lie, the temptation to let her rot after what she did to our family was in my mind. But we got her to Mountainside. I was amazed that not only did her treatment start that first day, but the family treatment started right there as well. They realize that not only does the addict need help but the family does too. When she finished treatment, she went and got her GED, went to college and got a degree in business. She is now 4 years clean and sober with a great job and an even better outlook on life. When I first arrived I was very nervous and I kept thinking what have I done, 3weeks later, I was clean! It was the hardest thing I've ever done! With all the love from staff and people in detox, I got through, day by day! It was like a family! Everyone was so kind and caring! Best thing I've ever done for ME😊

What an AWESOME place. Their mind-body-spirit workouts to help you get clean and sober are just dynamite! Being up in the mountains is so peaceful. The staff is amazing and kind and looking for you to succeed! I strongly recommend this place to anyone suffering from an addiction that REALLY wants to get clean!
